Pyramid Hotel Group Names Daniel Wright Chief Financial Officer

Pyramid Hotel Group LLC (Pyramid), a Boston-based hotel development, management and ownership firm, today announced that Daniel C. Wright has joined the company as chief financial officer. He will oversee the company's finance and accounting functions and play a key role in acquisitions and development.

"Dan brings more than 25 years of senior financial and real estate transaction experiences in the hospitality and real estate industries and also private equity and will play a key role in our future growth."

Prior to joining Pyramid, Wright was CFO for Prism Venture Partners, a private equity venture capital fund. He formerly was CFO of Leggat McCall Retirement Properties, a senior housing project owner operator. His hospitality experience includes nearly 14 years with Sheraton Corporation, beginning as head of the audit department. He held increasingly important positions, including division controller, director of strategic projects and planning and director of corporate development.

A former Certified Public Accountant, he also is an attorney and member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a board member of the Walker Home and School, a non-profit facility for troubled children. He received a BSBA from Babson College and holds a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School.
