Pyramid Hotel Management has several Sales and Marketing programs that are implemented upon our assumption of hotel management during transition - each program is designed to strategically focus the hotel in six key areas:
1. Customer Acquisition The Sales Focus Tool™: This visionary, proprietary tool is designed to assist the hotel sales team to re-focus on the local competition and their customers so that we can increase market share and develop sustainable revenue growth. The goal is to better understand competitors so that we can successfully move their customers to our hotel

2. Sales Staff Development and Retention
- Pyramid Hotel Management delivers a customized “real world” sales training program for each sales associate. This program is designed to insure that each sales associate is equipped with the sales skills necessary to win every desired opportunity on behalf of the hotel.
- Currently, two levels of progressive sales training are offered to continually develop and grow the skills of our associates as they mature in their positions.
- Additionally, in order to leverage the investment of the sales training program and to effectively evaluate the sales process, we utilize an effective “Mystery Shopper” program. This program is designed to provide objective and documented 3rd party feedback to the hotel Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager for effective coaching, mentoring and skill development of our sales associates.
3. Internet Marketing
Pyramid Hotel Management understands how consumers buy travel products in today’s Internet driven marketplace. As part of our ongoing focus to maximize the electronic channels that can deliver incremental rooms business to our hotels in a cost effective manner, we implement a comprehensive Internet Marketing strategy at each hotel. Tactically, we drive first page placement on the hundreds of Internet sites that consumers use to identify and book hotels. Also, we implement a “key word” strategy to give us added visibility and booking opportunity based on the consumer input of specific words ( i.e. name of attraction, Houston hotels, etc) We drive significant results and triple digit ROI from these strategies across our entire portfolio of hotels.
4. Brand Delivery
Paramount to an effective revenue generation program is the ability to leverage all resources of the brand. As the former leaders of several major brand companies, Pyramid Hotel Management effectively evaluates, engages and leverages all brand programs and brand executive relationships to insure maximum brand contribution and support.
5. Sales Compensation
Successful sales professionals are motivated in a number of ways - through challenge, winning and recognition. In order to attract, retain and motivate the best in class sales associates, Pyramid Hotel Management has designed a comprehensive sales compensation program that focuses the sales associate on booking business that meets top line objectives, generates positive impact at the bottom and rewards them for their individual successes.
6. Revenue Management
Pyramid Hotel Management closely manages the sophisticated Revenue Management systems of the brands to insure the correct yielding in order to attain maximum rate and occupancy potential.
